The UConn Technology Park is steadily becoming a reality, a tangible response to needs expressed by Connecticut industries. Final design, permitting and infrastructure activities are now taking place. By 2015, the activity will be inside the workspaces of the first building of the Park – the Innovation Partnership building – which is focused on advanced manufacturing and is specifically designed to promote and house industry partnerships. This is the site where faculty, existing businesses, researchers and students will come together to create solutions and products that will propel the Connecticut economy forward. Discoveries will lead to new products, methods, jobs and businesses.
