Zubin Bhagwagar M.D., Ph.D

Zubin Bhagwagar MD DPhil has been at Rallybio since July 2018. He is a physician-scientist with more than 25 years of academic and industry experience as a scientist, physician, and R&D leadership team member in the areas of biopharmaceuticals, small molecule therapeutics, and research technologies. His expertise spans business development and drug development in both small molecules and biologics.

Prior to joining Rallybio, Zubin was VP External Innovation at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, and previously held positions of increasing responsibility at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where he was Head of the Clinical Pharmacology Medical Group.

Zubin received his medical degree from Delhi University and had subsequent training in psychiatry and neuroscience at the University of Oxford, where he was awarded a DPhil (PhD) in neuroimaging and neurobiology. He has extensive clinical training in neuroscience and has conducted clinical research in neuroscience/psychiatry at the Yale University School of Medicine, where he also holds a faculty appointment.
