The TCS group is pleased to announce that UConn has been awarded a patent for “Nanostructured Insulation For Electric Machines.”

U.S. Patent No. 11,569,701,265, issued on January 21, 2023 and is the work of inventor Yang Cao. Yang developed this innovation at UConn with sponsorship by the Office of Naval Research. We congratulate Yang and thank him for his part in our growing community of inventors!
